good not great. it depends what u r looking for. the look is almost spot on. but if u pair it with white furniture it looks completely yellow. i had to return mine because it was just not the look i was going for. but who knows, it might be the look that u want. p.s. not itchy but also not a very soft and comfy rug.

Everyone thinks we paid 5 times as much for this rug. It is amazing that it was so reasonably priced, and yet is made of natural fibers. There's no chemical smell, no shedding, no stiffness to it. It felt great under our bare feet from day one. Luxurious rug for the price. It is as nice or nicer than the other flokati shag rug in my great room that cost tons more.

Yeas, you need a pet comb to keep it fluffed up. But it's WAY cool as the perfect floor background for my vintage Knoll Intl Noguchi glass coffee table upon which I keep a collection of clear hand-size brilliant cut semiprecious jewels in various colors. Very nice.

This Flokati comes in three thickness. I ordered the 2000 ct. There is a 3000 count as well as a 4000 count. Money difference isn't much, I wish I had ordered the 3000 count. However, it is excellent for my use at the 2000. This type of "rug" is more like a THICK blanket then an area rug as we know it. No carpet backing. It needs a carpet pad or another rug to lay over. Needs special care. (DO NOT VACUME). Must be shook out and "combed". Hung outside in fresh air in a no sun area for a few hours a couple times a year. It is not meant for high traffic areas. It is more decorative than useful. Flokatis are greek about 3000 years old and were used as blankets back then. They are BEAUTIFUL no matter what thread count, but do require special handling and care. This is all not uncommon to any flokati "rug". I would definitely order again, but keep in mind they are for accent and looks. RugsUSA is a great company to work with. I have ordered from them before and consider them first in any choice I make!!!!

This flokati rug for the price is the best I've seen on-line or even at Home Goods. Color is very close to what's shown on internet - I ordered the cream and it's very nice. It arrived rolled up in plastic so just give it some time for the creases to smooth out (if any) and either fluff it up with a delicate comb/brush or let it be. I did not brush mine although the only reason I did note rate this rug a 5 is because without even walking on it - it still sheds - dust is collecting behind my bedroom door, around the sides of the bed and I caught some in the kitchen which is directly across from the bedroom. Hopefully the shedding will stop (I've read about the shedding prior to purchase so it did not come as a surprise). Otherwise a very nice Flokati look without the huge price tag.

I am happy with the rug - it is slightly more thinned out than expected, but the fibers are never standing straight up to notice and it always looks full. So, it's easy to overlook this. Quality seems fine (nice wool) and I'm sure it will be something that holds up in the future.

This rug is wonderfully plush. It's true that it's not the pure white suggested in photos, but it's quite beautiful and works anyway. The wool can be a bit scratchy if you lie down on it directly, but it feels great on the feet.

A few things to keep in mind if you are considering this rug: (1) it is slightly yellowish in color, not pure white; (2) it sheds a lot...found little puffballs around the house, but I am hoping that after a few good vacuuming sessions, that will slow down; (3) I wish the rug was a little more dense, because depending on how you walk on it, sometimes the backing shows through, and you can see bare spots. I suppose a more "deluxe" version would not have that problem. All in all, for the price, I think it's a good product and I'm happy with it.

I was hoping this product would be luxurious to the touch, but it's pretty thin. It looks lush, but it's not. This particular Flokati (by NuLOOM) has sparse but long threads. It looks good if you keep it fluffy with a pet brush. Mine had lots of "stickers" in it - the kind that get stuck to your dog or your pants after running around in tall grass. I had to hand pick them out. At least I know I bought real wool!

Was very excited about purchasing this rug especially after reading the review but was a bit disappointed when 8 arrived.It's more like a throw and an easily be push around.The color is not whiteas in the pic and there's a lot of shedding.However it is very soft and it stands out in a room.Way different from the one i saw in the store,i like it better eventhough it was a 100$ extra.Anyway not bad for a budget shopper like me.

The rug is beautiful.The pile is thick and long. I just wish it had a more substantial backing. You really need a non-slip pad for it.

I love this rug! Overall I bought the 2000 gm. and the cost was the best throughout the net. It looks amazingly beautiful. I shook it out right away then brushed it gently and everyone that walks into my home goes crazy as to how expensive it looks! I love it and highly recommend it. I am greek and proud to have this "imported" from Greece.

Beautiful rug for bedroom to be both functional and decorative. I have no problem caring for it and occasionally fluff it up with a natural bristle brush (most gentle). If you don't want to hand care for a rug get something else.

This rug is gorgeous. Small puffs of fur are still escaping but I'm waiting to see if the shedding eases up. I have it in a medium traffic area, no shoes allowed as I doubt it will be at all stain resistant. It's beautiful and looks exactly the way I imagined it would in my space so I'm quite thrilled with this purchase.

This beautiful plush rug was bought for the bedroom to be both functional and decorative. It will be a winter rug used on a wood floor. It is exactly as described and if you don't want to occasionally shake it out, brush it or wash it then get something more conventional.

The best deal on a flokati rug period. The quality is by far better than what I have seen at my local store. It's thick and dense. It'll be hard to vacuum do to the long strands of wool yarn but this is true with any shag rug. Also this rug is 100% wool including the back. There is no cheap canvas backing.

I am absolutely in love with my Flokati rug . It's one of the best purchases I've made on the internet period. The rug is heavy and soft and really made our bedroom . I have seen these same rugs elsewhere for a lot more and not even of the same quality. There seems to be more wool per inch then on others that I have seen.

I saw similar rugs like this for so much more, heck even rugsusa has other shag rugs that are twice as much. the rug came fairly weekly, and i had to follow some instructions on making it fluffy but after all the work it turned out great. thanxxxx!

I bought this as a prop for my photography studio but I don't think it's going to work out. The shag is very fine and won't show texture in photos. BUT I can see my wife stealing this for our bedroom as it is so soft and great looking.

Good points are that this flokati is thick and soft. it's well made and faaar cheaper than on any other site that I have checked. BAd point is that when the rug arrives you have to let it lay flat for a week or so in order for the wool to come back to life. The rug arrives the same way your hair looks in the morning. FLAT. It helps to spay the rug with water and to then brush it with much like a dog. Also as this is a heavy shag rug it will shed for awhile .
