This is a beautiful rug made
with quality materials. It is
dense and thick which feels
good to walk on or sit on. The
rug has more white to it than
it looks in the picture. It
appears to have more white
than black so I would not
recommend it for a kids play
area, etc. I am happy with my
purchase and would recommend
it for any non-children's
area. The packaging/shipping
was not that desirable. It was
wrapped in brown paper, which
was torn on arrival.

I ordered this rug in a 5 x 8'
size in the brown tones. This
is a lovely rug--I was looking
for something distinctive and
modern, but not too flashy and
it fit the bill. The stripes
are a beautiful warm dark
cocoa, hooked, and the blonde
part is raised in thick pile,
like a soft oatmeal color.
Had know how pretty it was I
would have ordered the bigger
size. Great value.

I bought 3 of the runners for
my stairs and they look great.
The carpet installer easily
cut and stapled these rugs for
a very seamless and finished
look. This rug is very well
made and a fantastic value. I
noticed a bit of shedding at
first but not that bad. I was
expecting a lot of shedding
from the other reviews. The
rug appears to be black and
white even though the white is
closer to ivory. Bright white
would look weird anyway. My
only complaint is I would pay
more to have scotch-guarding
as an option. I am going to
pay a company $90 to come do
that next week since I have
the rugs in a high traffic area.

Got the brown version. A bit
darker light areas than shown.
Stripes are "sculpted" by
having a thin channel between
dark and light areas. The
pile is not dense. It is an
average rug. Not a great rug.
Not a bad rug. I am replacing
a dense oriental and will
notice the difference in
quality. It is always unfair
to just say "you get what you
pay for" and I think this rug
is very well priced, but it is
not a super bargain.
RECOMMENDED: No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

great price. It's plush and
feels good under your feet. I
was concerned that the white
would be stark white and look
cheap ... it's actually a
off-white and looks like a
much more expensive rug. It's
in my daughter's room and
looks fabulous with her
lavender walls and creamy
white furniture. She is
thrilled! Perfect for a
teenager... could also go in a
much more sophisticated room.

was well packaged. It is an
off-white color, ivory I
guess, with brown stripes, so
if you're looking for black
and white, this isn't it! It
does have an odor for a day or
two- just new rug smell. I
don't notice it anymore after
a week. It does shed a bit,
but again I think that's due
to being new. I vacuumed it
daily at first and now every
other day or so and it's
definitely improved. I think
it will quit that eventually.
A beautiful rug- well worth
the cost....adds a nice splash
of interest to a room!

I purchased the 8 ft round zebra.It fits perfectly in a corner of my large living room with bookshelves. You want to lay on it when you walk on it, it's so thick. I accented it with 2 large modern, comfy red chairs and a low,low table and I ordered a chandelier that will really set it off. Already people want to sit there instead of my big area. LOVE IT! I agree with the previous post that the white is not a pure white but I am not sire that a pure white can be achieved in a wool rug. when i say this rug sheds, i mean it really sheds. the entire living room was covered in fibers: the sofa, windows, the table, my clothes, my pets, you name it. i started to vacuum the heck out of it. the first time i vacuumed it, the fibers filled about 1/4 of a 30 gallon trashbag (8x10 rug).
colors are very good - black blacks and white whites. seems well-made.

This is a wonderful area rug and it makes a great statement. It does shed a little when you first get it, but as well-made wool rugs do, just vacuum a few extra times throughout the first couple weeks after you get it. It has great quality & craftsmanship. Very soft and plush, my dog refuses to sleep on his bed now-he'd rather sleep on this rug! We looked for a while to find an elegant, sophisticated, zebra rug that was actually black and white. I have never spent any decent amount of money on a quality rug, but after admiring this rug for so long, I decided to just finally order it. I bought the large 7'6 x 9'6 size and I just got it today! WOW and AMAZING is the perfect words for this rug! It is so gorgeous, that I found myself laying on this, as it is thick, very comfortable and looks perfect with my furniture. Fantastic quality! So much so, that I just might order the same one in a smaller size for my other room. Sheds? Yeah, a little, but vacuum it and it will be fine. Don't waste your money on the cheap, thin rugs. They won't last and the quality just is not there. This is a rug you definitely cannot go wrong with!! I LOVE IT!!!!

I would highly recommend this rug to anyone looking for a quality wool rug at a low price. Great with contemporary furniture. The rug does shed but after a vacuum it's much better.
Also take note that this is a heavy and thick rug so if it's laying close to a door it may prevent the door from closing.
