wish I could attach the
picture so you could see how
much different it is. Not
sure how to buy from this
seller... if the picture does

It is made well but the colors
are much darker than in the
picture. I was disappointed
in how dark the rug colors
are. The green is more of a
hunter green, yellow is gold, etc.

The actual colors are not quite as vivid as on the website's photo, e.g., what looks like crimson is more of a maroon. I was hoping for something with Mondrian color clarity, but I still like the rug, even with it's somewhat muted colors.
I was concerned when the rug arrived, because a horrible chemical smell accompanied it. But most of that was probably on the outside of the plastic bag the rug was shipped in. Once I disposed of the bag, the rug itself retained very little of the odor.
RECOMMENDED: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

be very bright, but in reality
they are very muted, actually
dull and dreary looking. I
sent the rug back, as I had
planned to use it as a wall
hanging and was attracted by
the bright colors.

A gem of a rug although I did feel that it was too expensive for the larger 8x11 size. even with the coupon and the free shipping there where other rugs from Surya that cost a lot less. Still the rug is plush and soft and of a high quality.
